Hendricksville

Around 1825, the Hendricks Family (also spelled Hendrix) arrived and settled in a valley near Richland Creek in Greene County.  The family skills included blacksmithing, grist milling, and making stoneware.  There were the pioneer skills that assisted the development of a thriving community.  In 1831, a post office was established with the name of Hendricksville.
