Old Clifty Church
Located twelve miles southeast of Bloomfield on CR 225S, west of SR 45, and just south of Little Cincinnati, this primitive yellow poplar log structure was completed in 1867 and was used as a Methodist Church. From the Bedford stone quarries, an amphitheater of stone seats and a table of slab and block stone (1½ times as long as the church) was created to accommodate the homecoming dinners held on the second Sunday each August.
