Sunset Park Recreation Area

Located approximately 1 mile north of Humphreys Park in Linton on Sunset Road (CR 200N), this 300-acre facility is open to the public from May 1st to November 1st.  The park features 8 lakes, often noted as some of the clearest in Indiana, which allows the park to have one of the most complete scuba diving facilities in the area, as well as offering nine PADI Programs including open water diver, skin diver, rescue diver, wreck diver, navigation, night diving, photography, dive master, and assistant instructor.  The lakes contain an abundant supply of bass, red ear, and blue gill with Rock Pond and Sunset Lake being the most popular.  There are both primitive and electric campsites, as well as swimming area, paddleboats, and bicycles.  Several trails within the park connect to the trail system located in Lee Sherrard Park (Linton Conservation Club).
